We are a small family run business formed 2003 originally in Droitwich, and now settled in Bromsgrove. We specialise in Hot Foil Printing and Machinery. Over the last 20+ years we have grown to offer hot foiling machines, training and supplies.
Experience (and a bit of a boast)
Hot Foil UK have been Hot Foil printing for over 20 years, using both hand operated and semi-automatic machinery.
Over a decade since we started full time we now have a state of the art Digital Printer, Booklet Maker and Collator, Large Guillotine, Laminator, Digital Creaser, Large Capacity Stapler, Folding Machine and Risograph.
We were involved in Foilink (The National Foil Printers Club), and were honoured to run the organisation for 7 years. Advising foil printers across the country in all aspects of foil printing.
We are still very much independent and offer impartial advice to anyone coming into the industry. We can advise on what type of machine is right for you, without pressure or any agenda to sell a particular make or model. Over the years, we have sold over 300 machines, not only to the UK but all over Europe and the World – even as far as America and Australia.
Hot Foil UK are now the only company to our knowledge in the UK who offer training on a wide variety of hand operated hot foil machines, including British makes.
We have a large number of industry contacts to help you with your business. We are both passionate and dedicated, to help you get the most out of your hot foiling venture.
David Chill
David Chill learnt to print at school at the tender age of 14 using letterpress. But he spent the next 22 years in the hotel and catering industry, running several hotels as General Manager.
He caught the hot foil printing bug in 1990 and set up a full-time business in 2003, offering hot foil and general commercial printing.
David initially ran his small printing business from home, and now runs the business from premises in Bromsgrove.
From 2004 to 2011, David ran Foilink the National Foil Printers Club.
He offers expert advice to those wishing to start up their own hot foiling business.
Steven Inman
Steven has been with the company over 10 years and is the main printer and print finisher, as well as the technical guru of the business.
He has a vast wealth of knowledge of hot foil printing as well as an excellent engineering background from his former career.
Lisa Bridge
Lisa has been with VIP also for over 10 years and has a BA Hons degree in Graphic Design. She spent several years honing her skills on regional newspapers and magazines as well as a stint working for a local county council.
She is an expert with all Adobe Packages and Quarkxpress and has a natural flair for creating innovative designs.
